Pilates equipment builds strength and coordination while supporting good form. During this pandemic, many of our clients have had to find their center in new ways, without the aid of the equipment. For some that has led to a breaking of old movement patterns that had seemed impossible to shift.

Still, we love a Reformer.

There are a few props we think are the most versatile and practical, that work well for home Pilates workouts. These props build strength and flexibility.

Triad Ball $30 ($15 used)

Theraband  $5 (members free)

Foam Roller $28 ($14 used)

Magic Circle $30 ($15 used)

Mini Magic Circle $20 ($10 used)

Hand Weights 1-3 lbs $8/pair used only

Furniture Sliders $8/pair new

For or Gyrotonic clients, we recommend a stool or chair that does not obstruct your movement and which places your hips above your knees. This is one great example.

We are able to loan some of these items to our online session clients. Please contact us for availability.

In a group lesson on Zoom, props help your teacher offer variations and modifications that challenge each student at their own level. We request that all participants in our small group sessions have access to a few of the most common Pilates props. A foam roller, a purple Triad Ball, a Magic Circle and a Theraband are a great collection. We currently have all of these items at the studio to buy or borrow. If you borrowed props earlier in the pandemic, you can continue to use them on loan or purchase them.
